Windows companion

Connects the browser to your default label printer and securely manages your StreamTag license.

Browser extension

Watches the live show, detects completed sales, and sends clean sale details to the companion.

Install in this order

    Run the Windows installer

    Keep “Start StreamTag when I sign in” selected. Because this test build is not code-signed yet, Windows may show a protection message; choose More info, verify the app name is StreamTag, then choose Run anyway.

    Extract the extension ZIP

    Move the extracted folder somewhere permanent, such as Documents. Chrome needs that folder to remain in place.

    Load the extension

    Open chrome://extensions (or edge://extensions), enable Developer mode, select Load unpacked, and choose the extracted folder containing manifest.json.

    Pair and connect

    Right-click the StreamTag tray icon and choose Pair browser extension. Paste the six-digit code into the extension, then sign in or redeem a friend code.

    Check your printer

    Set the label printer you want to use as the Windows default printer, then open a live show and confirm StreamTag reports “Desktop connected.”
